Dr. 'I‘aylor’s Balsam of Liverwort has found
hundreds of advocatcs,and has produced so
large a number of Testimonials in its favor, I
cannot. withhold my small meed ofpraisc. Be-
ing predisposed to consumption, both from pe-
culiur formation and hereditary transmission, I
tried every means to check this disease, and
strengthen a naturally wcak constitution. I
spent two years at Pisa, one in Rome. two in
Florence, and another in the south of France,
seeking, meantime. the advice of the best phy-
sicians. Two years since Iretnrned to this
country in about the same situation as when I
left. Iliad seen in the reading rooms of Eu
rope much said in favor of Dr. Taylor’s Balsam
of Liverwort, and as soon as I arrived in this
city, I used it, and in three months I was so
well I concluded I could safely pass the winter
here, and did so. I have used an occasional
bottle now and then during the time, but am
new in as good health as possible. My cough
has wholly ceased. and my lungs has every
feeling of health. -Dr. G. Smith, and Dr. Post,
of this city, were my pliysicirins, and now say -

as I have for three years with these diseases, I
feel from my heart for all persons equally un-
fortunate, and therefore I beg of them, if they
love life and health; ifthey love their families
and friends, not to lay and die under the hands
of mercury doctors or their useless trash, but
try Dr. Taylor’s Balsam of Liverwort. This
medicine cured me when I was so ill I could not
turn over in my bed without assistance, and the
mineral doctors saidI could not livea week, yet
this vegetable medicine cured me in six weeks.

by Dr. Taylor’s Balsam of Liverwort. _ This
man is a certman. and let all others who cannot
efford,to be idle, follow his example, if they are
sick and use this medicine. It will restore dis-
eased lungs and liver in a very short time.
Consumplioncurccl.—My son, having a violent
cold, used to cough violently, raising quantities
of thick putrid matter, and finally he could not
turn over in bed from weakness. He manifested
every symptom ofconfirmed consumption. For
six years he had been subject to the asthma.
His physicians, Drs. Vermeule and Anderson,
said he was incurable, and must soon die. Yet
I was determined to try Dr. Taylor’s Balsam of

article of Taylor’s Balsam of Liverwort, is at

RESURRECTION OR PERSIAN
PILLS.
HESE‘ pills raise from the greatest weak-
ness. distress, and suffering, to a state of
strength, health, and happiness. The name of
these pills originated from the circumstance of
the medicine being found only in the cemctries
ofPersia. This vcgetable production being of
a peculiar kind, led to experiments aslo its
medical qualities and virtues. In half a centu-
ry it becameran CSl?.ll)llSIle(I medicine for the
diseases ofthat country. The extract of this
singular production was introduced into some
part,-.-i of Europe in the year 1783, and used by
many celebrated physicians in curing certain
diseases, where all other medicines had been
used in vain. Early in the year I792. the ex-
tract was combined with _a certain vegetable
imported from Dura Baca, in the East Indies,
and formed into pills. The admirable effect of
this compound upon the human system, led phy-
long established character. their universal and
healing virtues, the detergent and cleansing
qualities of their specificial action upon the
glandular part oftlie system, are such as will
sustain their reputation and general use in the
American Republic.

pected to effect a cure upon such as are in the last
stages of the disease; but even to such it will
