Dr. Taylor's Balsam of Liverwort has found
hundreds of advocates, and. has produced so
large a. number of Testimonials in its_ favor, I
cannot withhold my small ineed ofpraise. Be-
ing predisposed to consumption, both from pc-
culiar formation and hereditary_tran_smission, I
tried every means to check this disease, and
strengthen a naturally ivealeconstittition. _I
spent two years at Pisa, one in Rome. two in
Florence, and another in the south of France,
seeking, meantime. the advice of the best phy-
sicians. Two ycrtrs since I returned to this
country in about the same situation as when I
left. I had seen in the reading rooms of Eu
rope much said in favor of Dr. Taylor’s Balsam
of Liverwort, and as soon as I arrived in this
city, I used it, and in three months I was so
well I concluded I could safely pass the winter
here, and did so. I have used an occasional
bottle now and than during the time, but am
now in as good health as possible. My cough
has wholly ceased, and my lungs his every
feeling of health. Dr. G. Smith, and Dr. Post,
of this city, were my physicians, and now say

sick and use this medicine. It will restore dis-
eased lungs and liver in a very short time.
Consumptioncurcrl.—My son, having aviolent'
cold. used to cough violently, raising quantities
of thick putrid matter, and finally he could not
turn over in bed from weakness. He manifested
every symptom ofconfirmed consumption. For
six years he had been subject to the asthma.

said he was incurable, and must soon dic. Yet;
