Dr. Ta lor’s Balsam of Ltverwort has found
hundre s of advocates, and has produced so
large a number of Testimonials in its favor, I
cauuotwithhold my small meed of praise. Be-
in predisposed to consumption, both from pc-
cu iar formation and hereditary transmission, I
tried every means to check this disease, and
strengthen a‘ naturally weak constitution. I
spent two years at Pisa, one in Rome. two in
Florence, and another in the south of France,
seeking, meantime. the advice of the best phy-
sicians. Two years since I returned to this
country in about the same situation as when I
left. I had seen in the reading rooms of Eu
rope much said in favor of Dr. Taylor's Balsam
of Liverwort. and as soon as I arrived in this
city, I used it, and in three months I was so
well I concluded I couldsafely pass the winter
here, and did so. I have used an occasional
bottle now and then during the time, but am
now in as good health as possible. My cough
has wholly ceasetl, and my lungs has every

as I have for three years with these diseases, I
feel from my heart for all persons equally un-
fortunate, and therefore I beg of them, if they
love life and health; ifthey love their families
and friends, notto lay and die under the hands
of mercury doctors or their useless trash, but
try Dr. Taylor's Balsam of Liverwort. This
medicine cured me when ‘I was so ill I could not
turn over in my bed without assistance, and the
mineral doctors said I could not live a week, yet
this vegetable medicine cured me in six weeks.
I had a hackingcough, pain in the side, raising
of matter, night sweats, and was wasted to the

Raising of Blood.—This disease is easily

cold, used to cough violently, raising quantities
of thick putrid matter, andjinally he could not
turn over in bed from weakness. He manifested
every symptom of confirmed consumption. For
six years he had been subject to the asihma.
His physicians, Drs. Vermeule and Anderson,
said he was incurable, and must soon die. Yet
I Was determined to try Dr. Taylor’s Balsam of
Liverwort. and strange as it may appear, this

As we are thus obliged to come before the
public to prevent a wicked and reckless imposi-
tion, we. will take the occasion to say, that ifthe
increase of the call for the Mother’s Relief,
wherever known, be any guide to a correct opin-
ion to be formed of the estimation in which it is
held, we have the satisfaction of believing that
it has been the means of alleviating an infinite
amount of suffering and of saving many valua-
ble lives. Wherever it has been used duringthe

with that troublesome and dangerous disease,
he Cancer. By his mode of operation, cancers
are extractedin front 6 to 48 hours without re-
.-orting to the knife. He also cures persons
troubled with fits of all kinds, and otherdiseases.

against her husband, Isaac A. Havilaud, pray-
ing for a divorce, for reasons in said petition
stated, as per said petition on file, dated the 20th
ing shown to this Court that the said Isaac A.
1-Iaviland is absent out of this -State, and gone
to parts unknown-—It is thereupon ordered that
said petition be continued to the next term of
this Court, to be holdeu at Danbtiry, within and
for said County on the last Tuesday of.Oc'tober,
1840; and that the pendeucy thereof be pub-
lished in the Republican Standard, and the
