now receiving the necessary repairs. It is de-

wish to avail themselves of a full and thorough
course of academical education. Instruction
will be given in all'the different branches of
English study usually pursued in schools of a
higher order, together with the Classics and
higher Mathematics. It is intended for pupils
of both sexes. and should sufficient encourage-
ineut hereafter be received, to justify the hope
ofample patronage permanently, a female teach-
er will be provided of suitable qualifications to
conduct that Department, so as to aflhrd eligible
advantages to young ladies, for a thorough and ac-
