Mr. Robert. Monroe, Schuylkill, afflicted with the
above distressing malady. Syinptouis-—Great lati-
guor, flatulency. disturbed rest, nervous headache,
difficulty of breathing tightness and stricture across
the breast, tlizziitess, nervous irritability and rest-
lessness, could not lie in a horizontal position without
the sensation of impending suffocation, palpitation
of the heart, distressing cough. costiveness, pain of
the stomach, drowsiness, great debility and deficien-
cy of the nervous energy. Mr R ‘Monroe gave up
every thought of recovery, and dire despair sat on
the countenance of every person iiiteiested in his
existence or liappiness, till by accident he noticed in
a ttblic paper some cities effected by Dr WM.
EVANS’ MEDICINE in his complaint,wiiich in-
duced him to purchase a package ofthe Pills, which
resulted in completely removing every symptom of

vis, 13 Centre st. Newark. N. J., atllicted for four
years with severe ‘pains in all hisjoints, which were
always increased on the slightest motion,tlie loiiguc
preserved a steady whiteness; loss of appetite, diz
ziness in his head, the bowels commonly very cos-
tive, the urine high colored, and often profuse
sweating, unattended by relief. The above symp.
toms were also attended witli considerable difficulty

Feb. 15, 1838,) is now in successful operation.
This Wheel is of cast iron, costs but from $30
to $40, and is of sufficient. power to carry the
heaviest machinery; and its chief advantage
over all other wheels consists in its being adapt-
ed to propel any machinery on any stream where
one foot head of water can be obtained—and
that neither back-water or ice can impede or
obstruct its operations. County, town, and
individual rights to use the same are offered for
sale by the proprietors.
All persons desirous of further information
concerning this valuable improvement, can ob-
tain it on application to the Office of the Nor-
walk Gazette, where certificates of its utility
can be seen, and an interview had with one of:
the proprietors.
One of said wheels is now in operation at
Cattskill, N. Y. where a furnace for casting them
is erected, which will supply all orders at the‘
shortest notice. ‘
