every prospect of carrying the election through-

Legislature. Gov. Roman will undoubtedly be
elected by an immense majority over Mr. Prieur.
Gov. White’s election is considered certain in
the first Congressional District. From the 2d
District all accounts concur in the belief that
Judge Cltinn. the Whig candidate, will be elect-
ed over T. Lawson, Loco-Foco. The Hon. R.
Garland has no opposition in the 3d District.-
Tlie Senate will be renovated and improved. In

the Union, on our present prospects; and We
