New-London, for erecting THREE BEA-
CONS at the entrance of Mill River Harbor,
State of Connecticut, viz.'—The outer Bea-
con,ahout twenty feet square and fotirteen feet
high, to be builtof rough stone and titriber,
with a large Pile or Spar in the mI(ItIIe,' to be
covered oti the top, (a little sloping) and ten
feet down on each side with three iucli plank,
and the corners well secured with Iron Bands.
TVVO other BEACONS farther in the
Harbour, to be each Eighteen feet square and
t.welve feet high, both of which to be built of
the same materials and in the satire manner,
as the outer otre, the whole tobe done, in a
solid durable manner, to be approved by the
Superiutendaut of the Light House Estab-
lishment, or such other persons as may be de-
