HE important discovery ofa vegetable sub-

stance,capable of restoring and preserving
the hair, was accidentally made by an individ-
ual who has neither the capacity nor the dis-
position to practice deception or fraud. The
fullest reliance may be placed on the efiicacy
and power of the Vegetable Cerate, not only
in restoring and preventing the falling offthe
hair, but in producing the greatest lustre and
liveliness ofit imaginable ; and the publicrnay
rest assured that its effects will be clearly man-
ifested in the course ofa short time by the re-
newal and vigorous growth of the hair, and
bycffectually preventing its coming out or fall-
ing off. The vegetable cerate tends to resus-
citatc and excite the energies of the capillary
vessels, which constitute these organs that se-

I-IE Subscriber begs leave to inform his
‘ friends and the public in general that he
is now ready for the reception ofwool for car-
ding at his stand, on the Danbury road, for-
merly occupied by G. H. Newkirk,whei'e he
intends carrying on the business in all its va-
rious branches, and he flatters himself that
from the experience which he has had, and
the strict attention which he will pay to the
business, that the greatest satisfaction will be
given to his customers. IVool may be left at
the house of the subscriber, on the turnpike
road opposite his Factory, or at the store ofE.
B. Bennett, from whence it will be taken and
carded and returned immediately to the same
place. The subscriber returns his thanks to
his customers for past favors, and earnestly
begs the continuance of them. His machine
is new and in such order that he will be able
to card any kind of wool that may be prescri-
ted him, in the best uianner and as Cheap as
at any other factory in the country. The sub-
scriber lias at a great expense erected his
works in the best order for to do work, and he
hopes that the public may be benef'itted by it
as well as himself. Every exertion will be u-
sed to prevent mistakes of all kinds, and to
meet their wishes as far as possible by the
