T HE important discovery ofa vegetable sub-
stance,capable ofrestoring and preserving
the hair, was accidentally made by an individ-
ualiwho has neither the capacity nor the dis-
position to practice deception or fraud. The

have been in a state of doruiaiicy or disease,
maybe restored to their healthy action, and
perform all those futictions assigned them by
nature. The proprietor being aware ofthe
mimerous specifics palmed on the public, and
desirous that the present article may not suf-
fer, rests its merits on the effect it has produ-
ced on hundreds ofpersons, boili male and fe-
male, and found to be the only thing in res-
toring and preventing the hair from coming
out of the heads of those who have used it,
and all that is asked, as it relates to the veri-
ty of its effect, is a fair trial.

perfectly innocent may be pleiitifully applied
night and morning, and rubbed hard into the
pores of the head with the fingers,witliout ap-
prcliension of danger. In addition to its other
value, it beatitifies the hair and whiskers.
N. B. Gentlemen that are bald, after: tising
it for some weeks,will find a small fibre ofhair
growing on the place that is bald : they will
continue it for about ten days after its appear-
ance, then they will shave their hair close off
where it is affected, after that it will receive
its natural and vigorous growth.
