THE important discovery ofa vegetablesub-

the hair, was accidentally made by an individ-
ual who has neither the capacity nor the dis-

perform all those functions assigiied them by
nature. The proprietor being aware of the
numerous specifics painted on the public, and
desirous that the present article may not suf-

ced on hundreds of persons, both male and fe-
male, and found to be the only thing in res
toring and preventing the hair frotn coming
out of the heads of those who have tised it,
and all that is asked, as it relates to the veri-
ty of its effect, is a fair trial.

night and morning, and rubbed hard into the
pores of the head with the fingers,without ap-

continue it for about ten days after its appear-
ance, then they will shave their hair close off
where it is affected, after that it will receive
its natural and vigorous growth.

PON the petition of Josiah Gilbert of Sa-
lema in the County of Westchester and
State of New-York, as he is guardian to Mol-
ly, Stephen, and Betsey Jinn Gilbert, minors,
tinder the age ofszl years, praying this Court
lorliberty to sell and convey two certain pie-'
ces ofland, situate in Wilton, in the district
ofNorwalk, containing about 16 acres, which
descended to them from the estate of Tltontas‘
Seymour, dec’d, in virtue ofthe right oftheir
dec’d Mother, bounded and described as per
petttton on file, dated this .‘24'h day of March,
1824. Ordered : That the further considera-
tion of this petition be postponed to a session
