Fairfield, or from the flats and waters adjoin-
ing and belonging to the same, betwceritlie

tober next, under the penalty of Seven Dol-
lars, for each offence, the whole to liiui or to
them who shall site for, and prosecute his suit
to effect. Section 92d. Whereas, Drags
have been found to have a pernicious and de-

Rccommendations.—Tliis is to certify that
Ithe subscriber had been afflicted with the
Asthma for twenty years, and the paroxym,
were often so violent as nearly to deprive me
of breath. During one ofthe most violent re-
turns of the Asthiiia,I was advised to try ‘Ari-
derson’s Cough Drops,’ and I did so, and, to
my surprise, I was very soon entirely relieved,
and felt no more of the Complaint for six
months. Upon a return ofa paroxysm ofthe
Asthma, I have made use of the same niede-
cine and it has invariably given me relief. As
it respects the Asthma, and its attendant
symptoins, difficulty of breathing, &*.c. I con-
sider ‘ Anderson’s Cough Drops’ a remedy, in
praise of which too much cannot he saith I
further certify that my son in law had for
some time been supposed to be past recovery
ofa coristimptive complaint, when I advised
him to‘ make a trial of ‘Anderson’s Cough
Drops,’ and from the use of them, he has so
far recovered his health as to be again able to
attend to his business.

A By-Law to regulate and preserve the Shell
Fisheries of the town of Stamford, passed
at a town-meeting held on the l9tli day of
March, 189.4.“
- _Be it enacted by the Inhabitants ofthe town
of Stamford in lawful town-meeting assemb-
l,ed,That froiii aiidafter thei9th day ofMarch
1894, no persbn or persons shall in any inatt-
iier catch or cause to be taken any oysters
within the limits ofsaid town, or in any ofthe
waters and flats adjoiiiing and belonging
thereto, without a written licence from the
Selectmen of said town, or soiue one oftliem,
or thetowii clerk of said town, first had and
obtained for that purpose, on penalty of 17
dollars for every such offeiice, one halfto him
who shall sue therefor, and prosecute his suit
to effect, the other halfto the Treasury ofthe
towri of Stamford, aforesaid.
Be it also enacted, That no person or per-
sons shall in any manner catch or cause to be
taken any oysters within the limits of said
town, or in any ofthe waters aiitl flats thereto
belonging, from the first day of May to the
first day of October annually, on penalty of
17 dollars for evehy such offence, one half
thereof to him who shall sue therefor, and
prosecute his -suit to effect, the other halfto
the Treasury of the town of Statnford, afore-
said—Provided, however, that the Selectmen
of said town,,or any one of them, or the town
clerk of said town, may and they are hereby
empowered to grant licences for taking oys-
ters'within the limits of said town, at any

same may be needed in cases of sickness only
and that necessity shall be certified by some
physician to the person granting the licence.
Be it also enacted, That the Selectmen of

empowered to grant licences to any person to
take within the limits of said town, or any of
the waters and flats belonging thereto, from
the first day of October to the first day ofMay
annually, any quantity of oysters not exceed-
ing five bushcls in any one week during said
time, and if-any person so licenced as afore-
said shall take more than five bushels in any
one week during that time for so taking them
as aforesaid, the person so taking the same
shall forfeit and. pay the snni of 17 dollars,one
halfto him who shall sue therefor and prose-
cute his suit to effect, the other half to the
Treasury of the town of Stamford, aforesaid.
