THE object for which this Lottery was grant-
ed by the Hon. General Assembly is well
known, and hardly needs any comment ; howev-
er, for the more general information of such as
are not perfectly acquainted with the circumstan-
ces, the Managers have thought proper to ob-
seive that the Episcopal Society in Fairfield was
at the commencement of the revolutionary war

lic. The one now offered contains more high
prizes than Schemes in general of this amount ;

Consequently the Adventurer will have two chan-
cos for the high Prizes to one in any othei~Loite-

Part of the above Prizes will be determined in
the following manner, viz.
'1 be first drawn numbers, ‘on the lOth, 14th,
